Country Style Pork Ribs

Ingredients


Country Style Ribs


Kosher Salt


Ground Black Pepper


Garlic Power


All Spice


Apple Juice


3 Tablespoons Virgin Olive Oil*



Instructions


Place ribs on a platter or mat for 30 minutes. This will allow the meat to be room temperature.


Preheat the oven 300 degrees


Generously season to taste using all the ingredients EXCEPT the apple juice.


Sear the ribs at medium high heat


Put the olive oil (3 tablespoons) in a heavy skillet, heat at medium high


Add ribs carefully and sear on all sides (this seals the meat allowing the juices to remain inside)


Place ribs in a baking pan after searing.


Add the apple juice to theh baking pan, cover with foil and bake for 2 hours.


After 2 hours, remove ribs from the oven to check for tenderness. Meat should have begin to pull away from the bone


Discard apple sauce and pan drippings RESERVING 1/2 cup if you desire to make gravy


Brush on your favorite BBQ sauce and return ribs to the oven uncovered for 1 hour
